Men: First NCAA regional rankings released

Compiled by D3hockey.com Staff

The NCAA released its first set of men's regional rankings on Tuesday and the season's first look inside the minds of the regional committees revealed Norwich and St. Norbert atop the East and West Region rankings, respectively.

Used to determine both NCAA tournament bids and seedings, this week's rankings are the first of four sets that will be released to the public.  Additional rankings will follow on February 21 and February 28, while the final rankings generated on March 5 and used to determine the NCAA tournament selections will be released on March 6.   The numbers used by the regional committees to generate these rankings are sometimes made available to the public.
