Women: First NCAA regional rankings released!

Compiled by D3hockey.com Staff --

The NCAA released its first set of women's regional rankings on Tuesday and the season's first look inside the minds of the regional committees has revealed Norwich and Gustavus Adolphus atop the East and West Regions, respectively.

Used to determine both NCAA tournament bids and seedings, this week's rankings are the first of three sets that will be released to the public.  Additional public rankings will follow on February 20 and 27, while the final rankings generated on March 4 will not be released to the public on March 5.   The numbers used by the regional committees to generate these rankings are sometimes made available to the public.
