Women: Second NCAA regional rankings released

Compiled by D3hockey.com Staff --

The NCAA released its second set of women's regional rankings on Tuesday and it remains Norwich atop the East Region and Gustavus Adolphus on top of the West. A bit farther down, Hamilton enters the East rankings while Augsburg makes its first appearance in the West.

Used to determine both NCAA tournament bids and seedings, this week's rankings are the second of four sets that will be released to the public.  Additional public rankings will follow on February 27, while the final rankings generated on March 4 will be released on March 5.   The numbers used by the regional committees to generate these rankings are sometimes made available to the public.
