Hat trick fuels road win for Tommies

Senior Tanner Barnes' first college hat trick lifted St. Thomas Men's Hockey to Friday's 7-4 non-conference win at UW-Stout.

Barnes added an assist, and Johnny Panvica had two goals and an assist for the Tommies (5-4-2). Brett Gravelle and Luke Radetic also scored goals, and Jake Ahlgren had three assists.

Barnes scored twice in the third period to push the St. Thomas lead to four goals.

Radetic continued his scoring streak and has scored a goal in six consecutive games.

Cam Burggrabe stopped 33 of 37 shots in goal for the victory.

The Toms are off for four weeks until playing again Jan. 4 against UW-River Falls.
