Tommies open 2019 with home victory

Cam Burggrabe stopped 20 of 22 shots and St. Thomas received goals from four different players in Friday night's 4-2 home-ice win over UW-River Falls.

The Tommies (6-4-2) erased an early 1-0 deficit and scored the game's next four goals. Alex Trapp and Brett Gravelle each had a goal and an assist. Ben Vikich and Matt Christian also collected goals, and the Purple outshot the Falcons 36-22.  

St. Thomas is home Saturday night to face UW-Superior.
