Tommie women rally to tie Bethel on ice

No. 8-ranked St. Thomas and visiting Bethel skated to a 2-2 overtime tie in MIAC women's hockey play Saturday afternoon in Mendota Heights. The Tommies (10-3-4 overall, 6-1-3 MIAC) never led but pushed their conference unbeaten streak to eight (5-0-3) and claimed three of four points on the weekend series

Freshman Maddy Fieldler scored a power-play goal with 1:20 left in regulation to erase a 2-1 Bethel lead. Paige Kittelson had 18 saves in goal. Allison Borgstrom had two assists and Kaylee Druk scored a goal.

The Toms play two home games next weekend against Concordia-Moorhead.
