Another tie for St. Thomas women

Host St. Thomas outshot Concordia 37-11 but settled for a 3-3 overtime tie in Friday night's MIAC women's hockey game in Mendota Heights.

The teams play again in Mendota Heights at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Allison Borgstrom had a goal and an assist, and Rachel Werdin and Allison Parnell also scored goals. Borgstrom tied the game with a goal with 5:38 remaining in regulation time, assisted by Heidi Hannula.

The Tommies (10-3-5 overall, 6-1-4 MIAC) are unbeaten in their last nine conference contests (5-0-4).

Emily Goff scored two goals for Concordia (9-6-3, 6-2-3).
