March 7, 2015 Foresters win second straight Slaats Cup in dramatic fashion ADRIAN, Mich. -- Behind a goal by junior Michelle Greeneway with just 3.3 seconds on the third period clock, the Lake Forest College women's hockey team defeated Concordia University Wisconsin 2-1 in Saturday's Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Slaats Cup Championship Game. The victory also sends the Foresters to their second consecutive NCAA Division III Tournament.
March 6, 2015 Reiter, Krumwiede lead Falcons in semifinal upset win over Adrian ADRIAN, Mich. – Sophomore Nicole Krumwiede entered Friday's Northern Collegiate Hockey Association semifinal matchup against top-seeded Adrian College without a point this season. A player known more for her energy and defense from the forward position, she hadn't recorded a point since her first career collegiate game when she scored two goals against Finlandia University.
