March 5, 2016 Amherst downs Connecticut College 3-0 to advance to NESCAC Championship Amherst opened the scoring in the second period with a brace of goals before adding an empty netter late in the third period. The win puts Amherst back in the NESCAC title game where they will face Middlebury with an NCAA tournament berth on the line.
February 27, 2016 Izzi scores twice as Camels advance to semis for third time in four years NEW LONDON, Conn. -- Junior forward Steph Izzi (West Cornwall, Conn.) scored twice and classmate Katherine Chester (Mendham, N.J.) set a school record with her sixth shutout, to lead the third seeded Connecticut College women's hockey team to a 3-0 victory against sixth seeded Hamilton College in a NESCAC Championship Quarterfinal game played at Dayton Arena Saturday.
