Cullen Willox had a goal and an assist and St. Thomas snapped a two-game losing streak with Saturday's 4-1 MIAC men's hockey road victory at Gustavus.
Benjamin Myers rebounded from a frustating night in Friday's 5-2 home loss to the Gusties. Myers stopped 29 of 30 shots in goal for the Tommies (8-6-1 overall, 3-2-1 MIAC) and helped kill off both GAC power plays.
UST built a 3-0 lead over the first 40 minutes on goals by Willox, Tanner Barnes and Johnny Panvica.
Gustavus scored with 8:00 left in regulation but the Toms closed the scoring with an empty-net tally in the final minute.
