SUNY Canton (4-7-1) found the equalizer at 16:34 of the period whenTess Adams (Calgary, AB) tallied her 10th of the season off passes from Kat McNeilly (Scarborough, ON) and Anna Lagzdina (Ozolnieki, Latvia). Adams poked home the puck after a scramble in front of the cage.

UNE took the lead for good at 14:38 of the middle period when Gabby Crugnale stuffed home a rebound off a shot from the blue line by Shannon Smith. Annie Mullen added an insurance goal for the Nor'easters at 12:28 of the third.
