HARRISVILLE, R.I. – The Nichols College women's ice hockey team was defeated by SUNY Canton 6-0 Saturday evening in Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) action at Levy Rink.
Junior Jessica Pele scored a pair of goals for the Kangaroos while Tess Adams notched a goal and an assist and Ashley Gillies dished out two helpers. SUNY Canton outshot the Bison 35-13 – including 21-5 in the third period, when it scored five goals.
Junior Cassandra Goyette recorded 29 saves for the Bison.
All-Time Series
Tonight's contest marked the third all-time meeting between SUNY Canton and Nichols College. The Bison lead the series, 2-1-0.
