Maddy Fiedler and Allison Parnell scored third-period goals to help No. 3-ranked St. Thomas Women's Hockey take a 2-2 overtime tie at Gustavus Saturday afternoon in conference play St. Peter.

The Tommies (13-0-1 overall, 7-0-1 MIAC) took three of the four points on the weekend. They pushed their unbeaten streak to 27 games (21-0-6) dating back to last season.

The Purple remain alone in first place by two points over 6-1-1 Hamline, with 5-1-2 Concordia and 5-2-1 Gustavus also closely in the chase with 10 games to go.

The Gusties scored just 28 seconds into the game and went ahead 2-0 with under 7:00 elapsed. But the Toms shut down GAC over the next 58:00 on the clock and killed off all five power-play tries.

The Tommies play Bethel next weekend.
