DULUTH, Minn.--Adrian College sophomore goalie Nikita Babintsev (Birmingham, Mich./Amarillo Bulls, NAHL) has been named the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Defensive Player of the Week for the first time in his career, the NCHA league office announced on Tuesday.
Adrian senior goaltender Kevin Entmaa recorded a career-high 40 saves in historic fashion to help the Bulldogs stymie visiting Salve Regina, 2-0, in a non-conference battle of nationally-ranked teams on Friday evening. These same two teams will conclude their two-game weekend set at 3:05 p.m. Saturday.

ADRIAN, Mich. - Timmy Nicksic's goal 3:19 into overtime lifted St. Norbert College to a 2-1 win over Adrian College in a battle between the nation's top-two ranked teams in a battle for the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Harris Cup Playoffs championship at Arrington Ice Arena.

WAUKESHA, Wis.--The 2017 Peters Cup Adrian College Bulldogs landed a league-landing four student-athletes on the All-Northern Collegiate Hockey Association team, which was released on Tuesday. Sophomore forwards Trevor Boyd (Muskegon, Mich./Austin Bruins, NAHL), Bryan Yim (Farmington, Mich./New Jersey Hitmen, USPHL), sophomore Cory Dunn (Trenton, Mich./Austin Bruins, NAHL) on defense, and sophomore goalie Kevin Entmaa (Milton, Ontario/Caledonia Corvairs, GOJHL) were honored on the list.
Adrian wins a third straight Peters Cup, Oswego clinches while rival Plattsburgh leaps towards locking up second, the WIAC playoffs begin, and the MIAC and NESCAC chases will now go down to the end of their regular seasons Saturday.
