March 2, 2019 FOUR-PEAT in FOUR OTs - Augsburg wins MIAC men's hockey playoff title MINNEAPOLIS -- In the second-longest game in NCAA Division III men's hockey history, Tommy Carey's (SO, Moorhead, Minn./Moorhead HS) rebound goal 54 seconds into the fourth overtime gave Augsburg University its fourth straight Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference playoff championship, a 2-1 triumph over Saint John's University on Saturday night at Ed Saugestad Rink.
