HARTFORD, Conn. -- The Trinity College men's hockey team defeated the Colby College Mules, 3-1, in Saturday's New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) men's hockey quarterfinal game in Hartford. Trinity moves on to the semifinals and will host the remainder of the tournament as the No. 1 seed Williams College Ephs lost, 2-1, to No. 8 seeded Tufts today. Colby finishes the season with a 9-11-5 overall record and 6-10-3 mark in conference play.

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. -- Colby College received some major scoring from its defense and tallied three power play goals in the game on the way to a 6-4 victory against Nazareth College on the opening day of the Plattsburgh State Winter Classic on Friday.
