RIVER FALLS, Wis. - Lawrence Cornellier found the back of the net in double overtime to give the fourth-ranked UW-Stevens Point men's hockey team a 4-3 victory at Hunt Arena to win the WIAC Commissioners Cup Championship.
RIVER FALLS, Wis.-(uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls men's hockey team hosted UW-Stout in game 2 of the WIAC Semifinals on Saturday night at Hunt Arena. The Falcons needed a win or tie because of their win on Friday night to advance to the WIAC Championship.

RIVER FALLS, Wis. (uwrfsports.com)- The UW-River Falls men's hockey team hosted UW-Stout in the WIAC Semifinals on Friday night at Hunt Arena. The Falcons would get two 4 on 4 goals in the second period and that is all they would need behind a strong effort from senior goaltender Tanner Milliron as the Falcons beat the Blue Devils 3-1.

The University of Wisconsin-River Falls Falcons men's hockey team played against Northland College's hockey team for the second game of the season. The Falcons won over the Lumberjacks in a blaze of glory, 5-1.
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. -- The ninth nationally ranked UW-River Falls men's hockey team finally defeated the UW-Eau Claire Blugolds for the first time in four matchups this season in a 4-3 road victory in the first game of the WIAC semifinals thanks to two third period goals from freshman leading scorer Kyle Gattelaro.
Superior scored once in the 1st, once in the 2nd, and twice in the 3rd to sweep top-seeded UW-River Falls in the WIAC semifinals. The series victory sends Superior to Eau Claire to play for the championship next week.
RIVER FALLS, Wis. -- Outside of one period in early December, the Yellowjacket men's hockey team and UW-River Falls have played nearly identical hockey. In that first meeting the Falcons scored four times in the first period on their way to a 5-1 win. Since then the teams have met three times, and all three have ended with an identical final score.
