October 2, 2015 Another ECAC league falls; CCC brings hockey in-house Starting in 2016-17, the Commonwealth Coast Conference will sponsor men's hockey, leaving the ECAC without a Northeast hockey league as well. That includes the University of New England.
February 11, 2015 Western New England's Tim Carr Repeats ECAC Northeast Goalie of the Week Laurels DANBURY, Conn.--For the second week in a row and the third time this season, Western New England University senior men's hockey student-athlete Tim Carr (Pine Bush, N.Y./New Hampshire Monarchs, EJHL) has been named the Eastern College Athletic Conference Northeast Goalie of the Week. Carr has received the conference's top weekly award for his position three other times in his career, including Feb. 2 and Nov. 10 of this season and Nov. 19, 2012.

December 9, 2014 Western New England Goalie Scott Brown Nets ECAC Northeast Rookie of the Week Accolades DANBURY, Conn.--Freshman goaltender Scott Brown (Sewickley, Pa./Hartford Jr. Wolfpack, EHL) of Western New England has been named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Northeast Rookie of the Week in men's hockey. This marks the first time that Brown has received this conference award.
October 27, 2014 Assistant Chris Beaudoin '11 Hired to Golden Bears Men's Ice Hockey Coaching Staff Chris Beaudoin will start his first season with the Western New England University men's ice hockey program in 2014-15 as an assistant coach after serving in a similar role at Fermi/Enfield High School in Enfield, Conn., last season.
